Autobiography of Japanese Actress Published in Beijing
The Chinese version of the maiden autobiography Poems of a Star by well-known Japanese actress Ryoko Nakano was published in Beijing Friday.

Ryoko Nakano has been popular in China since debuting a popular film here in 1979.

A record of her experience in promoting cultural exchanges and people to people contacts between China and Japan, the autobiography has been published on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the normalization of Sino-Japanese ties.

For more than 20 years, Ryoko Nakano has been devoted to enhancing relations between Japan and other countries, particularly China. In 1995, a Project Hope school was built in China with her donation. The new book shares many of the actress' exchanges with Chinese people.
