Book on 'Three Represents' Theory Published
A seminar marking the publishing of a book on studying the "Three Represents" thought of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was held in Beijing Tuesday.

The book was compiled by the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CPC. It expounded the "Three Represents" thought in terms of economy, politics, culture, national defense, foreign affairs and party building.

Liu Yunshan, head of the publicity department, said at the seminar that publication of the book would satisfy the demand of CPC members and government officials and help to implement the tasks of the 16th National Congress of the CPC.

Arming the CPC members with the "Three Represents" thought was a guarantee to accomplish the goal set by the 16th National Congress of the CPC and a channel to lay a solid ideological basis for the unity of the Chinese people, he added.

The "Three Represents" thought states that the CPC must always represent the development trend of China's advanced productive forces, the orientation of China's advanced culture, and the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people in China.
