Universities in Beijing Resume Classes for Foreign Students
Following the WHO's lifting of the travel advisory against Beijing, an increasing number of foreign students have returned to campus and resumed classes.

At the Beijing Language and Culture University, international students have begun attending classes as usual.

Zheng Chengjun, deputy director of Foreign Students Section, Beijing Language and Culture University, said, "We are resuming classes on a phased basis. More than 900 foreign students have returned to campus so far, much higher than our original estimate of 100. With more students planning to come back, we are making arrangements to add more classes for the next period."

The first group of foreign students who have resumed classes at the university are undergraduates and short-term students who are about to complete their studies.

At present, in addition to the Beijing Language and Culture University, several other universities including Peking University and Beijing Normal University have also resumed classes for foreign students.
