The 19-episode TV series "The Last Cavalry" will be shown prime time on May 19th on CCTV channel one. It tells the story of what the last cavalry in China went through before it was rescinded.

This is another army masterpiece. The Cavalry company 1 boasts of its glorious past. But with the modernization of the Chinese army, this cavalry team has recently been rescinded.

The director of the cavalry, Chang Wentian, loyal to his team and workplace, can not face the changes and does everything he can to keep his team together. After a successful rescue mission of some explorers during a ferocious sand storm, the team proves unbeaten.

But another director Kong Yuehua is sent to help rescind the team no matter how sorrowful the dilemma.

Under the Jiayu Pass in Gansu Province, hundreds of tanks, cannons and armored cars together with 15,000 people join in a ceremony to say good-bye to the last cavalry. It's another moving story that's sure to keep you stuck in front of your television.
