Andy Lau's Paralympic Games Song Unveiled
Adjust font size:

The new song - Everyone is No.1, composed by Hong Kong singer Andy Lau for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, will first air on Wednesday.

In the new song's MV, Andy Lau plays the role of a disabled courier who lost his confidence in life after a car accident. When he saw the Paralympic Games, he decides to retrieve his faith. Andy Lau described the shooting of the MV as even harder than ancient action movies. He had to walk seven hours with bandages on his foot every day during the shooting.

It is known Andy Lau has financed the MV shooting himself, paying 1.5 million Hong Kong dollars.

In 1996, Andy Lau has attended activities of the Hong Kong delegation for the 10th Paralympic Games. And in 1999, he was elected as the deputy of the Hong Kong delegation for the Paralympic Games. He said he respects the perseverance of those disabled athletes and hopes the song could inspire everyone to learn from the sports spirit.
