South Korean singing sensation Rain arrived in Shanghai on Thursday Oct. 4 for his first concert in the city, which will be held on Oct. 6 at the Hongkou Football Stadium.

Over 1000 fans of the pop star waited at the local airport to greet him. A small event was held at the airport hotel to reward the passionate fans. The pop singer and actor enjoys a large fan base throughout Asia. According to the organizer, fans attending the concert hail from nine countries, including Singapore, the US, Thailand and Japan.

This is the second round of the "Rain's Coming World Tour Concert". The date for the Shanghai concert had been postponed several times.
