A bronze sculpture of Juliet, the heroine of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," arrived on Wednesday in eastern Chinese city of Ningbo, at a park themed with the Chinese Liang-Zhu love story.
The sculpture, two meters tall and weighing 300 kilograms, is a duplication of the original from the Italian city of Verona, hometown of Juliet.
The bronze sculpture will meet the public on October 30 during a group wedding.
The 30-hectare Liang-Zhu Cultural Park is a theme park with a Liang-Zhu sculpture as the central building. Liang-Zhu is a tragic love story of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai from the East Jin Dynasty (317-420 AD).
