EU Diplomatic Missions Willing to Cooperate with China in SARS Battle
Diplomatic missions of the European Union to China are willing to cooperate with China in the battle against the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), according to sources with the Chinese Foreign Ministry Saturday.

Greek Ambassador Charalambos Rocanas, on behalf of the diplomats of the 25 EU nations and head of the EU delegation to China, wrote on Friday to Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing, expressing appreciation for China's efforts on prevention and control of SARS.

He thanked the Foreign Ministry for timely offering of SARS information to foreign diplomats and said they were willing to conduct comprehensive and concrete cooperation with related Chinese departments.

FM officials said Li attached high importance to the letter and would ask related departments to contact with the EU missions on the cooperation.
