Delegations of the US and Japan to the fourth round of six-party talks will hold a meeting in Beijing Monday morning, according to a press officer with the US embassy in Beijing.

The Japanese delegation, headed by Sasae Kenichiro, director-general of the Foreign Ministry's Asia and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, arrived Sunday evening. The US delegation, led by US Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill, arrived Sunday afternoon.

According to other sources, the six parties will hold a series of bilateral talks ahead of the nuclear talks that will reopen Tuesday morning.
