China Xinjiang Culture Week to Be Held

"China Xinjiang Culture Week" will be held in Almaty city of Kazakhstan starting next Wednesday.

This is the first comprehensive culture exchange activity held in Central Asia by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the last 20 years.

The cultural festival is designed to further enhance knowledge and cooperation between China and Kazakhstan.

During the week, Xinjiang and Almaty city will exchange views on economy and culture, and exhibit many handicrafts by artists from the China's northwestern region.
