Renaissance Art Exhibition Opens in Shanghai

An exhibition of 74 works of art, including original sculptures by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, has opened at Shanghai's Liu Haisu Art Museum.

The works are on loan from the Bellini Museum in Florence, Italy.

Luigi Bellini, the curator of the private museum, says he's happy to bring some of his family's collection to Shanghai.

His family is noted for collecting Renaissance masterpieces.

One noted work featuring the scene of Jesus freed from the cross was created by Michelangelo in the 16th century.

The exhibition will run for two months.
