China, Mozambique FMs Hold Talks

Mozambique will firmly adhere to the one-China policy and be opposed to "Taiwan independence," Mozambique Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Leonardo Simao said in Beijing Tuesday.

Simao made the remark when he met with his Chinese counterpart Li Zhaoxing during a stopover in Beijing.

Li and Simao agreed that China and Mozambique should make concerted efforts to further deepen the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries and between China and Africa.
