Sino-Pakistani Military Ties Underscored

Chinese and Pakistani militaries said Thursday that they are willing to deepen the relations between the two forces.

In his talks with visiting Pakistani Minister of Defense Rao Sikandar Iqbal, Chinese Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan said Sino-Pakistani friendship is deeply rooted and won popular support with a broad foundation. The military ties play an important role in the bilateral relations. China would like to further enhance the relations between the two military forces in the future.

Iqbal said Pakistan had always attaches great importance in the relationship with China, and its friendship with China is sincere and trustworthy. Pakistan fully supports the one-China policy and will join hands with China in fighting terrorism, separatism and extremism, he added.
