Vietnamese President Arrives in Beijing

Vietnamese President Tran Duc Luong arrived in Beijing Monday morning for a five-day state visit to China as guest of President Hu Jintao.  

During his stay in China, top leaders Hu Jintao, Wu Bangguo, Wen Jiabao and Jia Qinglin will meet or hold talks with him. They will exchange views on deepening Sino-Vietnamese relations and expanding cooperation, as well as international and regional issues of common concern.

 

The two sides are expected to sign a series of agreements on economic and trade cooperation.

 

Besides Beijing, The Vietnamese president will also visit Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Nanning, three southern Chinese cities.
