Senior Party Official Holds Talks with Palestinian Guest

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, held talks Monday with Abbas Zaki, member of the Central Committee of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah).

Wang said China will continue to promote "comprehensive and fair" settlement of the Middle East issue, expressing his hope that the Palestinian people will enjoy a bright and peaceful future.

Abbas Zaki, who is also a general delegate of foreign relations of Fatah Movement, said his current China visit aims to further enhance the existing friendly relations between Fatah and CPC, and borrow CPC's successful experience.

The two sides also exchanged opinions on Palestine-Israel situation.
