Uyunqimg, vice chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, met in Beijing on Tuesday with a delegation from the Democratic Labor Party (DLP) of Brazil, headed by DLP President Carlos Roberto Lupi.

Uyunqimg briefed the guests about China's domestic situation. She spoke positively about the relations between the two countries and the two parties.

Lupi said the DLP is ready to enhance cooperation with the Communist Party of China (CPC), and make new contribution to the promotion of friendly relations between the two countries and the two peoples.

The Brazilian delegation is here at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
