Adjust font size:

Laotian Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh paid a visit on Sunday to central China's Hunan Province.

During the day, Bouasone visited Shaoshan, the hometown of late Chinese leader Mao Zedong and the China National Hybrid Rice Research and Development Center.

Bouasone arrived in Changsha, capital of Hunan on the evening of August 25 and will leave the province for Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province on August 27. Before coming to Hunan, he visited northeast China's Liaoning Province.

Bouasone started his seven-day official China tour in Beijing on August 22. This is his first official visit to China since taking office in June 2006.
