Polish President Wishes Good Relations with China

Polish President Lech Kaczynski said on Monday that Poland is glad to promote relations with China.

 

Kaczynski made the remarks when receiving the credentials presented by new Chinese Ambassador to Poland Sun Rongmin.

 

He said the growth of the Poland-China relations is good. President Hu Jintao, Chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress Wu Bangguo visited Poland consecutively, and China and Poland worked more closely together on a broad range of issues relating to political, economic and many other fields.

 

He believed this kind of cooperation would be further strengthened.

 

Saying Poland is glad to promote Poland-China and Europe-China relations to higher levels, the president also highlighted the good preparations for the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and wished the Olympic Games hosted in Beijing a complete success.

 

Sun Rongmin said China attached importance to developing friendly cooperative partnership relations with Poland, and was ready to work with Poland to push forward the bilateral relations in all fields.
