Chinese Acrobats to Perform in Germany
Chinese acrobats from the country's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region have been making full preparations for an upcoming tour of Germany in next October.

Xin Guining, director of the Inner Mongolia Acrobatic Troupe, said his acrobats will visit over 100 cities in Germany and give performances of their best shows, some of which won national or international awards. One such show is "Four People Playing Bowls with Feet" -- the Gold Prize winner at the 13th Tomorrow acrobatic show in Paris.

Founded in 1960, the around 100-member troupe is of rich ethnic variety, counting Mongolians, Daur, Ewenki and Hans among its acrobats. Between 1988 and 2003, the troupe made more than 40 overseas visits to give their eye-catching shows, including to Australia, France, Japan, Mongolia, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the United States, according to the director.
