The Press Office under the Ministry of Health published Sunday afternoon a press release on the latest SARS situation on the Chinese mainland.

From 10:00 am June 14 to 10:00 am June 15, the Chinese mainland reported no new diagnosed SARS case, no new suspected case and no death. A total of 29 patients recovered and were discharged from hospital. They included 21 from Beijing, 5 from Inner Mongolia, and 3 from Shanxi.

From 10:00 am June 14 to 10:00 am June 15, the Chinese mainland also reported 3 misdiagnosed suspected cases, of which 2 were from Tianjin and 1 from Beijing. By 10:00 am June 15, the Chinese mainland had a total of 50 suspected cases.

Now 361 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals.

According to the statistics standard of WHO, by 10:00 am June 15, 3 provinces on the Chinese mainland had reported SARS cases. No local transmission had ever been reported in Liaoning and Sichuan.
