A MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed by the two companies on Thursday.

According to the MOU, Nuctech will provide the hard and software design, technical training and knowledge transfer of the non-intrusive inspection system and others to its new partner.

David Lum, Managing Director of CPG Facilities Management, said at the signing ceremony, "We see the great potential in Nuctech's X-Ray Inspection System and that it will benefit our clients, in particular, those managing the airport, seaports, and land checkpoints, where security is critical," he said.

Kang Kejun, Chairman of Nuctech said that since the inspection system was launched in 1999, more than 50 units have been sold to the clientele in China, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Turkey, Iran and the Republic of Korea.

"This system will certainly help clients reinforce the security system in their countries," said Kang.
