Guangzhou Standardizes Cab Driver's Behaviors

South China's city of Guangzhou has worked out new regulations to standardize the conduct of cab drivers.

Taxi drivers are required to dress neatly or in uniform if possible rather than in bizarre clothes, such as slippers, high-heeled shoes and vests

The new regulation also urges the drivers to keep their cars clean and hygienic. Disinfection will be made a major priority for cab drivers.

In addition, drivers are also explicitly banned from smoking and using mobile phones while driving.
