The Shichahai Culture and Tourism Festival gets underway on September 5th. The 20-day festival aims to teach the ins and outs of Shichahai.  
 
The Shichahai Culture and Tourism Festival, one of Beijing's major tourist attractions, gets underway on September 5th.

The 20-day festival aims to teach the ins and outs of Shichahai and show the historical and cultural attractions of the ancient city.

Visitors can experience the local culture by fishing, chatting, boating or food and wine tasting.

The Festival will also include a series of other activities, including live shows of traditional handicraft production and exhibitions of paintings and calligraphy.
