Beijing Capital Airport Terminal 3 Complete by 2007

Terminal three of Beijing Capital International Airport will be completed by 2007. When the terminal is finished, it will only take four minutes to reach the furthest embarcation gate.

The last pile for the hall of the terminal was driven on Sunday.

The hall of the terminal has five floors above ground and two underground. A luggage moving system will help passengers get their baggage up and down floors.

In addition, a railway and two more expressways will be built to reach the terminal.

The design of how to connect the terminal three and the other two terminals is not yet finalized.
