Tourist with Counterfeit Passport Detained

A tourist from an African country was detained by the Pudong Frontier Inspection Station after he destroyed his real passport and tried to use a counterfeit one to board a flight to a European country.

Police alleged the African man fled when he was questioned by immigration officers during a routine procedure at Pudong International Airport on Monday.

He was caught inside the hall. Police later found his real passport in a garbage bin. It was ripped apart.
