HK Confirms Imported Dengue Fever Case

The Center for Health Protection of Hong Kong has confirmed an imported case of Dengue fever involving a 67-year-old man, bringing the total number of such cases to eight -- all imported.

 

According to the center on Wednesday, the patient developed fever, tiredness, dizziness, headache and pain in his eyes on June 15 after having visited Indonesia from May 15 to June 11.

 

He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital on June 18 in a stable condition. His contacts have no symptoms of infection.
