Air China Transports Over 400m Passengers

Air China has already transported more than 400 million passengers safely, according to Li Jiaxiang, president of China National Aviation Holding Company (Air China).

 

Air China have flown to over 100 nations and regions in the past 50 years, with 5 million safe hours on record. This is the most important foundation for Air China to be ranked as a famous Asian transportation company by 2010.

 

Air China has also set a safety record on the Chengdu to Lhasa route in the past 40 years. In 2002, Air China successfully launched a route from Beijing to New York across the Arctic pole.

 

With 160 aircraft, Air China now flies to over 100 cities in the whole world. Over 4,000 regular weekly flights are now in operation on 64 international routes and 320 domestic routes.
