China's Macao Special Administrative Region recorded 214,932 package tourists in June, according to official statistics issued Friday.

The figure from Macao's Statistics and Census Service indicated that the number of the package tourists arrivals in the month represented a year-on-year increase of 8.7 percent.

The number of group visitors from the Chinese mainland reached 167,430, a year-on-year rise of 8.7 percent, the figure showed.
