18 Snack Streets in Guangzhou Open to Public

A fancy shopping and food carnival will be held in Tianhe Stadium of Guangzhou at the National Day holiday, the netnease website reported.

 

Director of the exhibition center from Guangzhou Economic and Trade Committee Li Xiaoming said the coming festival will target at holiday shopping.

 

Large enterprise of various forms, state-owned, private-funded or foreign-invested as well as wholesale market dealers will organize teams to join the festival and offer discounts and gifts to local citizens at the festival.

 

To promote the holiday atmosphere, the city will set up branches at some commercial streets or plazas chosen from eight districts in the city and two counties. These streets and plazas are said to be typical in displaying the city’s features. Of course, the city’s 18 snack streets should not be missed, as Guangzhou is called the city for gourmands.

 

It is reported that the festival provides a place to go for local residents during the National Day holiday and offer them a chance to have fun in shopping.
