Weekly Weather Forecast (Sept. 5 to 11)

Northwest China: September 5 to 7, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy. Affected by streams of cold air, September 8 to 9, northern Xinjiang will be overcast with light rain. September 10 to 11, most of the region will continue to be overcast with showers expected from west to east, while some of southeastern sections will appear moderate rainfall with heavy rain in some places.

 

North China: Affected by weak streams of cold air, September 5 to 6, western and northernmost parts will meet showers or thundershowers. September 7 to 8, most parts will be sunny to cloudy, and will be cloudy to overcast with showers or thundershowers possible in some areas on September 9. September 10 to 11, western and southern parts will be overcast with showers.

 

Northeast China: September 5 to 6, affected by streams of cold air, easternmost and northernmost parts will be cloudy with showers or thundershowers. September 7, most of the region will receive light to moderate rain with moderate to heavy rain in southwestern parts. September 9, western and northern parts will be cloudy with light rainfall. September 10 to 11, most of the northeast will get light rain with moderate to heavy rainfall expected in northernmost parts.

 

Central China: Most parts will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies during the week. September 10 to 11, southern parts will be cloudy to light to moderate rainfall.

 

East China: September 5 to 6, costal areas in central and southern sections will be cloudy to showers with force 3 to 7 northerly winds. September 7, costal areas in central and northern sections will be cloudy with showers or thundershowers, accompanied by force 4 to 6 northerly winds. September 8, most of the east will be cloudy with occasional sun. September 9, northern and southern sections will be cloudy with showers or thundershowers. September 10 to 11, most of the east will continue to see showers or thundershowers, while southern sections will fall moderate to heavy rain with possible rainstorms in some places.

 

South China: September 5 to 7, most of the region will be under cloudy to sunny skies with showers or thundershowers in the costal areas in southern parts. September 8, southeastern parts will have showers or thundershowers with force 3 to 5 northeasterly winds. September 9 to 10, eastern and southernmost parts will experience moderate to heavy rain with storms to cloudburst expected in some areas and force 5 to 7 winds in the coastal areas. September 11, most of the parts will see light to moderate rain with heavy rainfall in some areas.

 

Southwest China: September 5 to 7, Yunnan, Sichuan and eastern Tibet will meet light to moderate rainfall. September 8 to 9, most of eastern Tibet will be overcast with light rainfall, while some of Yunnan Province will have moderate to heavy rain. September 10 to 11, eastern Tibet and eastern sections of the region will experience light to moderate rainfall with heavy rain or rainstorms in some areas.
