Taiwan Tourists Joined Yangtze River Story Tour

Tourist agencies from mainland and Taiwan launched a story tour along the Yangtze River on Monday where hundreds of Taiwan tourists began a trip to those places where interesting stories and legends once occurred.

The tourists were from Taiwan business circle and educational field. Some were retired office clerks. The Yangtze River Overseas Tourists Corporation from the mainland and the East Star Holiday Travel Agency from Taiwan jointly launched the tour after a year’s preparation.

During the coming eleven days, tourists will visit 40 scenic sites along the Yangtze River. The scenic sites include Chongqing, Wujiang River, the Three Gorges Dam, Lushan Mountain, Jingdezhen and Huangshan Mountain, etc. The trip is said to cover all the places where legends occurred.

Renowned artists from the mainland will make performances on the cruising boat to tell how those stories happened.
