New Aircraft for Olympics Promotion

Air China has purchased three Boeing aircraft with the name "Beijing 2008" emblazoned on their fuselage for the promotion of the upcoming Olympic Games.

Two of the planes have finished trial flights in southwest China's Chongqing municipality.

Carrying 117 passengers, the Boeing 737-700 flew from Chongqing to Beijing on Sunday. The body of the plane is adorned with the messages "Beijing 2008", and "One world, one dream".

Two of the planes will remain in Air China's Chongqing hub, and the other one will be located in Tianjin.

These aircraft will serve the Chinese delegations at the 2006 winter Olympics and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
