Shenzhen-Taiwan Flights Popular

The chartered flights from Shenzhen to Taipei, which transits in Macao, have been very popular since they were started Friday.

Flights over the weekend were all full, according to a source from the Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. Tickets for flights before the Spring Festival are almost sold out, leaving only some tickets for the festival eve.

The flight carrier, Macao Airlines, is considering adding one more flight daily from Shenzhen to Taipei from Tuesday to Friday. An additional flight will also be adopted for the Taipei-Macao-Shenzhen route each day from February 2 to 5, according to the source.

Two Shenzhen-Macao-Taipei flights depart from the Bao'an airport at 12:55 PM and 8:05 PM daily. Each flight takes about four hours, including 40-minute transit duration in Macao.
