Macao Airport Sees Rise in Passenger Move

The Macao International Airport handled 323,282 passengers in January, a year-on-year rise of 11.6 percent, according to statistics issued on Tuesday.

 

The figures from the airport management showed that the number of aircraft movements reached 3,933 in January, a year-on-year growth of 11.4 percent, while cargo handling stood at 18,355 metric tons, a 4.1-percent year-on-year rise.

 

The figures displayed that the airport logged 4.2 million passengers, 45,004 aircraft movements and 227,233 tons of air cargo in 2005.
