Weekly Weather Forecast (March 13 to 19)

Northwest China: March 13 to 15, southwestern sections of Xinjiang and eastern and southern Qinghai will be overcast with light rain or snow, while the remainder sections of the region will be cloudy to sunny with higher temperatures. March 16 to 17, most of the region will meet force 4 northerly winds while northern Xinjiang will have force 5 to 7 northerly winds with sandy winds expected in some areas, accompanied by light snowfall or sleet in northern Xinjiang, eastern Qinghai and southwestern Gansu. March 18 to 19, most of the region will see sunny to cloudy skies with sandy winds possible in some of eastern sections of the region, while western Xinjiang will turn to be overcast with light rain or sleet.

 

North China: March 13, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with force 4 northerly winds. March 14 to 15, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with warm weather, accompanied by overcast skies and occasional snows in some of northernmost parts as well as morning fogs in the plain areas. March 16, most of the region will be cloudy and partly overcast, while northernmost parts will experience overcast skies with possible light sleet. March 17 to 19, most parts will be sunny to cloudy with force 4 to 5 northerly winds and lower temperatures. Some of northernmost parts will meet sandy winds with light snowfall expected in northeastern parts of Inner Mongolia.

 

Northeast China: March 13 to 15, northernmost and easternmost parts will be overcast with light snowfall while the remainder sections will be cloudy to sunny with force 4 to 6 southerly or northerly winds as well as warm temperatures. March 16 to 17, northernmost and easternmost sections will have light to moderate snow or sleet with force 4 to 6 southerly then northerly winds with temperature dropping. Some of western sections will meet sandstorm. March 18 to 19, most of the region will be cloudy to sunny with the temperature getting warmer slowly.

 

Central China: March 13, southern sections will be overcast with light rainfall, then turn to be sunny, while northern sections will be sunny to cloudy with force 3 to 4 force northwesterly winds. March 14 to 16, most of the region will be sunny to cloudy with higher temperatures and morning fogs. March 17 to 19, northern sections will be sunny to cloudy, with some areas being overcast with occasional drizzles and force 4 northerly winds. Central and southern sections will be cloudy to overcast with light rainfall and lower temperatures, while some areas will experience moderate rain.

 

East China: March 13 to 15, central and southern parts will be overcast with possible light rain while most of the remainder parts will be sunny to cloudy with force 4 northerly winds in central and northern parts, accompanied by warmer temperatures and morning fogs. March 16 to 17, central and southern parts will be overcast with possible light rain. Moderate rainfall is expected in some of these areas, accompanied by force 4 to 5 northerly winds and lower temperatures in northern parts. March 18 to 19, most of the region will be cloudy to sunny with overcast skies and light rainfall expected in some of central and southern parts.

 

South China: March 13, most of the region will be overcast with light rain, then turn to be cloudy. March 14 to 15, most of the region will be under cloudy to sunny skies with warmer temperatures, while western sections will be overcast with possible light rain. March 16 to 19, most of the region will be dominated by cloudy to overcast skies with probably light rain or rain showers. The western and northern sections of the region may have moderate rain. Temperatures will roughly remain unchanged.

 

Southwest China: March 13 to 15, eastern sections of the region and eastern Tibet will be overcast with light to moderate rain or snowfall, while some places will receive heavy rain and some of Guizhou Province will meet ice rain. Eastern Sichuan Province and Chongqing Municipality will have fogs. March 16 to 19, most of the region will continue to see overcast skies and rainfall or sleet with moderate to heavy rain expected in some areas, accompanied by occasional fogs in eastern sections of the region.
