Weekly Weather Forecast (April 10 to 16)

Northwest China: Affected by streams of cold air, April 10 to 12, eastern Xinjiang and eastern sections of the region will have light to moderate rain or snow with force 4 to 6 northerly winds, accompanied by sandy winds in some areas. Meanwhile, some of eastern Gansu and southern Shaanxi will meet heavy rainfall. April 13 to 16, affected by another cold front, eastern Xinjiang and eastern sections of the region will continue to see rainy or snowy weather with force 4 to 6 northerly winds, possibly carrying dust, expected in western Gansu and Ningxia.

 

North China: Affected by streams of both cold and warm airs, April 10 to 12, most of the region will experience light to moderate rain or snow, while some of central and southern Shanxi, central and southern Hebei will receive heavy rain. Most of the region will have force 4 to 6 northerly winds with floating dust in some places. April 13, most parts will be sunny to cloudy with lower temperatures. April 14 to 15, northernmost parts will have force 4 to 6 southerly, then northerly winds with light rain or rain showers, while some of central and western Inner Mongolia, northern Shanxi and northern Hebei will see floating dust. April 16, most parts will have force 4 to 6 northerly winds with overcast skies and light rain or snow expected in eastern parts.

 

Northeast China: April 10 to 12, affected by cold airs, most parts will have light to moderate rain or snow with force 4 to 6 southerly, then northerly winds, while western parts will see sandy winds. April 13 to 14, most parts will be sunny to cloudy. April 15 to 16, most of the region will meet light to moderate rain or snow with force 4 to 6 southerly, then northerly winds, accompanied by sandy winds in western parts.

 

Central China: April 10, central and southern parts will be overcast with light rain. April 11 to 13, affected by streams of both cold and warn airs, most of the region will receive light to moderate rain from north to south, while some of southern Henan, eastern Hubei and Hunan will get heavy rain with rainstorm in some areas accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and strong winds. April 14, southern parts will be overcast with light rain while northern parts will be under sunny to cloudy skies. April 15 to 16, central and southern parts will be overcast with light to moderate rain or thundershowers with heavy rain possible in some areas.

 

East China: April 10 to 11, central and southern parts will receive light to moderate rain. April 12 to 14, affected by streams of both cold and warm airs, most of the region will have light to moderate rain, while southern Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, central and northern Jiangxi and western and northern Fujian will see heavy rainfall with rainstorms expected in some areas, accompanied by occasional lightning storms and strong winds. April 15 to 16, central and southern parts will continue to have light to moderate rain.

 

South China: April 10 to 11, most of the region will be overcast with light rain or rain showers. April 12 to 13, most parts will continue to meet light to moderate rain, while some of western and northern parts will experience heavy to stormy rainfall. April 14 to 15, western and northern parts will get light to moderate rain. April 16, western parts will continue to have light rain or showers.

 

Southwest China: April 10 to 12, some of eastern Tibet, eastern sections of the region will receive light to moderate rain or snow, while some of eastern Sichuan, Chongqing and Guizhou will meet heavy rain with occasional thunderstorms and strong winds. April 13 to 16, most of the region will experience another precipitation from west to east with heavy rainfall in some areas accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and strong winds.
