Four Chinese-Malaysian Tourists Killed in Traffic Accident

At least four Chinese with Malaysian nationalities were killed with 14 others injured in a traffic accident Friday evening in north China's Shanxi Province, local government sources said Saturday.

 

The accident took place at about 7:30 p.m. Friday when a passenger bus carrying 17 Chinese-Malaysian tourists fell into a ravine at a section of the provincial trunk road.

 

Four of the passengers were killed on the spot, three seriously injured, and 11 others, including the tour guide, got slight wounds, according to the Shanxi provincial government.

 

All the injured have been hospitalized.
