The famous Peace Hotel in Shanghai, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in this March, will invest US$50 million in renovations at the end of this year, hotel managers said yesterday.

They said the renovation work will in mid 2008. The Baroque style of the hotel will be kept but the structure and the number of the guestrooms will be changed.
