Weekly Weather Forecast (August 7 to 13)

Northwest China: August 7 to 9, western and northern Xinjiang and most of the region will have showers or thundershowers. August 10 to 12, eastern sections will meet showers or thundershowers. August 13, most of the region will be dominated by cloudy skies with possible showers in some areas.

 

North China: August 7 to 8, some of northernmost sections will receive showers or thundershowers. August 9 to 11, most sections will be cloudy to sunny with higher temperatures in the plain, while some places will meet showers or thundershowers. August 12 to 13, central and northernmost sections will continue to have showers or thundershowers.

 

Northeast China: August 7 to 9, most sections will see more showers or thundershowers. August 10 to 11, most of the region will be dominated by cloudy to sunny skies with showers or thundershowers in some places. August 12 to 13, most sections will continue to have showers or thundershowers with moderate to heavy rainfall in some areas.

 

Central China: August 7 to 8, most of Hubei and Hunan provinces will experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers. August 9 to 10, central and southern Henan and most of Hubei will have light to moderate rain or thundershowers. August 11 to 13, most of the region will be dominated by sunny to cloudy skies while central and southern sections will be hot with showers or thundershowers expected in some places.

 

East China: During earlier half of the week, most of the region will be mainly cloudy and sunny with sultry weather expected in northern parts, while some of central and southern parts will experience showers or thundershowers. During the latter half of the week, some of northern parts will meet showers or thundershowers while the remainder parts will be sunny and hot.

 

South China: August 7 to 9, central and western parts will have showers or thundershowers with moderate to heavy rainfall in some of southwestern parts. During the latter half of the week, central parts will see frequent showers or thundershowers while some of the coastal regions will receive moderate to heavy rainfall with storms in some areas. Northeastern parts will be under sunny and hot skies.

 

Southwest China: August 7 to 9, southern Tibet and eastern parts of the region will have light to moderate rain or thundershowers with heavy rainfall in some of Yunnan Province. During the latter half of the week, southeastern Tibet and some of eastern parts of the region will continue to meet light to moderate rain or thundershowers with heavy rainfall in some places.
