Foreign Tourists Favor West China's Scenery

Mark White, a backpacker from England, has stayed in Jiuzhaigou, a famous scenic spot in Sichuan province, for more than a week. "This is the very place I have always dreamed of visiting. I love the unique and charming natural scenery of west China," he said.

Large numbers of tourists from America and European countries can be seen visiting the beautiful mountains and zigzagging rivers in Jiuzhaigou, and west China has become one of the most favorite destinations of these tourists.

Moreover, some specific characteristic tours in west China have won plenty of foreigners' great favor, such as adventure tour and Tibetan culture tour in Sichuan's Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

In the past, Beijing and Shanghai were normally the top choices for overseas tourists, with west China being inferior. However, the situation is totally reversed today.

According to experts, with west China's tourism promotion worldwide and the improvement of its transportation, an increasing number of overseas tourists will set their eyes on west China.
