Safety Warning for Travelers to Brisbane, Australia

China's Foreign Ministry has warned Chinese tourists and Chinese citizens living or working in Australia of a recent threat of violent crimes in the City Botanical Gardens in Brisbane, Queensland.

 

Lately, violent crimes, such as robbery, have been a common occurrence in the Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. The mayor of Brisbane as well as local police have advised citizens to avoid touring the park at night.
