It is one of the three sites for ice and snow sculpture shows in Beijing.

All the sculptures are made by craftsmen from Harbin in Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, which is famous for ice lanterns and ice sculptures.

The ice lanterns and sculptures will be placed at the foot of the Badaling Great Wall for a daily display every year.

The present ice show is also one part of the Beijing Yanqing Ice and Snow Tourism Festival which runs until February 28.
