Old Photo of Yuanmingyuan Palce
This photo taken from a recently found album in Mar 2003 shows a picture of the Yuanmingyuan Palace shot by a foreign photographer.

Antique collector Wang Jinchang found the old photo album of the destroyed Yuanmingyuan Palace in an antique market.

A total of more than 170 photos in the album tells about the Yuanmingyuan Palace before and after its destruction by the British-French allied army in 1860. Those photos indicate the album may belong to an expert on the historical research of Yuanmingyuan who lost the matarial in the 1950s.
