The Huangyan District in Taizhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, has passed assessment by a panel of domestic experts on the district's application for the title of "China's capital of arts and crafts."

The expert panel, who have conducted a fact-finding investigation in the district recently, said that they have decided to recommend that the China Arts and Crafts Association award the title of "China's capital of arts and crafts" to Huangyan.
