Chongqing Feasts on Global Cuisine

People in Chongqing Municipality have been feasting on international dishes. The 4th China Food Festival has opened in Chongqing, bringing delicacies from all over the world to the plates of local people.

The food festival has attracted more than 30,000 chefs from 20 countries and regions. This, the first grand food gala to be held in Chongqing, features 429 courses, 61 banquets, 70 varieties of hot-pot and thousands of snacks. The chefs came up with all kinds of specialities, offering people a taste of the colorful food culture that can be found all over the world.

A huge hot-pot, which bills itself as the "World's No.1," got the most attention from overseas visitors. They couldn't believe their eyes at the size of the pot. But with chopsticks in hand, they couldn't wait to pick the delicate food up to their mouths.
