Revenues of Miss World Exceed 100 Million Yuan

Revenue from China's first Miss World competition has exceeded 100 million yuan, or over 12 million US dollars.

The bulk of the revenue was taken home by foreign companies while many Chinese enterprises failed to turn a profit from the event.

Domestic companies lost a reported sixteen and a half million yuan, or 2 million US dollars.
