With the crunch of the May Day holiday being felt around China, Beijing is sparing no efforts to regulate the tourism market during the week long national holiday.

With a close eye on the local market, the city closed two illegal travel agencies.

Tourism administration warns that travel agencies that publish false advertisements and hire tour guides without licenses will be given a stiff fine.
