Parks in Shenyang Ready for Tourist Peak

Tourist market has become increasingly active with the coming of the May Day holiday. In Shenyang, some major parks of the city also join the team for the big cake of holiday tourism.

In Beiling Park, busy preparations have continued for several days. Apart from natural sceneries, the park also prepared many additional items to attract tourists. According to Wang Huayi, deputy director with Beiling Park Administrative Office, during the May Day holiday, Beiling Park would invite professional art troupes to give performance in the mornings from May 1st to 5th. While lion dances would be staged both in the morning and afternoon.

Cultural relics also hope to be a major attraction during the holiday season. After thorough renovations, the Zhao Mausoleum and Fu Mausoleum would be wholly opened to the tourists. And this has never happened before.

In Nanhu Park, another major park of the city, large-scale recreation activities are ready to meet the holiday tourists. Ma Shuxian, vice party secretary with Nanhu Park Administrative Office, all recreation facilities in the park have passed the safety check by the quality inspection department in early April. And now, relevant staffs are making another round of examinations to build up safety guarantees. In addition, serial painting exhibitions are scheduled to meet the tourists during the holiday season.
