French Club Eyes Chinese Tourism Market

Club Med, France's top vacation provider has held a feast celebrating its achievement in adding 2,000 club members in China over the past six months.

Its global CEO says that its initial number of members in China is much higher than in other countries when first entering those markets.

Club Med is planning to build vacation villages and resorts in southwest China's Xishuangbanna and Yalong Bay.

It is said that the company is also willing to establish a joint venture in Shanghai to engage in travel services.

Last year, it organized 3,000 travelers to China.
