S. Korea confirms 4 new cases of A-type influenza

South Korean health authorities on Sunday reported four new cases of A-type influenza, bringing the country's number of the infected to 39.

The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Family said that four persons returning from the United States from May 25 to May 30, were confirmed infected by the A-type influenza virus.

According to the ministry, among the 39 confirmed cases, 13 are Koreans and 21 are U.S. nationals.
